Track Biography:
The Stonehall Harriers were formed in 1911 and have their kennels in Bansha Askeaton, Co. Limerick.
Point-to-points have been a large part of the hunts calendar for many years.
We now run 3 meetings a year Ballysteen & Moig South.
Many talented riders and horses have graduated from the Stonehall Harriers point-to-points Adrian Maguire rode his first winner on this track which we hope to see this continuing in the years to come.
This will be our second year in Cragmore on the Costello’s Family land and is a terrific track which is always very well received.
Grade 1 winner Death Duty won his four-year-old maiden here in 2015 and provided Derek O’Connor with his 1000th winner between the flags, making him the first point-to-point rider to ever achieve this remarkable milestone.

How To Get There
By Road
From Limerick: Take the N69 road (Listowel Road), it will be signposted from Askeaton
By Air
Our point-to-point is located forty minutes from Shannon airport.

Our point to point offers spectator’s brilliant viewing facilities and race goers can get really close the action.
We have parking facilities for any of disabled spectators, where they will get a great view of the track.
We have a road way into the point-to-point with an unlimited amount of parking spaces. We also have a marquee on the day which racegoers can shelter in if the weather turns wet.
We have plenty of portaloos situated around the field also.
Our betting ring is located beside the parade ring. Some of our bookmakers will also take bets on track racing and sometimes provide pictures of the track racing also.

Our Ladies Committee doing the catering on the day where they serve freshly made sandwiches and cakes in our hospitality tent.
We also have a chip van on site for anyone looking for something a little more substantial & for the first time we will have a mobile PIZZA van on site this year.
For the children and those with a sweet tooth we have a sweet stand which sells a variety of confectionery.

Teas and coffees are served all day in the hospitality tent.
Our hot food caterer and sweet stands also have a selection of refreshments on offer.
So there is something to suit all the family!

Cragmore point-to-point is the perfect day out for the family in the countryside and as an added bonus for parents all children U16 have free admission.
With Limerick city only 30 minutes from the track, there is an endless amount of attractions to keep you busy within the area. The picturesque town of Killarney is also only an hour and half drive from the point-to-point.
